A rhythm tap dance company formed in February 2002. 

I started metronome so that I could choreograph and perform my own material. That material is a product of my training and exposure to many different styles of tap.  I am influenced by the legacy of the Harlem hoofers and their successors who “bang-the-floor” today, as well as the Vaudeville, Broadway and Musical Movie legends.  Drawing on a wide range of musical sources, metronome aims to span this spectrum of tap by presenting sophisticated rhythms and “delicious” footwork with a dynamic performance quality, artistry and energy that engages and entertains audiences of all ages.

metronome has performed original productions around New York at WAX (Williamsburg Art neXus), the Barrow Group Studio Theater, the American Globe Theater, Danza Washington Heights and as guest artists in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Long Island.
